Bambi II (2006)
“We want to know what happened before Spring in Bambi!” – Said no one ever.
Brief Backstory
In the 2000s, Disney went a shift from great 2D animated movies in theaters to shit like Lion King 1 1/2 and Return to Neverland. Disregarding the amount of times people refused to give in to these cheapquels, the jackasses at Disney decided to send out another cheapquel, focusing on Bambi this time while jamming to AC/DC’s Money Talks and other money-related songs and getting high on LSD.
While some reviewers put this higher than the original, most don’t.
Story
The Prince of the Forest watches over Bambi after his wife (Bambi’s mother) is murdered by man.
Random Facts
Patrick Stewart (yep same man from *shudders* a Star Trek series and the shit emoji from that horrific emoji movie) voices the prince.
The hunting dogs don’t look as feline as before, but now they look more like hyenas.
Shouldn’t this be called Bambi 1/2 since it takes place before the ending of the first?
Random Opinions
A prince does not woo-hoo? Who wrote this shit? Did anyone seriously want to hear Patrick Stewart saying that?
Yeah if you haven’t guessed by now I don’t like Star Trek. There I said it; don’t judge me.
Unlike other cheapquels such as Return to Neverland the backgrounds don’t seem to resemble the original.
Pros
- Better storytelling than most cheapquels.
Cons
- Lameass humor. One of the dogs gets sprayed by Flower – hardy har fucking har har.
- No purpose in this being made other than disgracing Walt Disney’s work (though it’s not like the original Bambi holds up as well as Dumbo).
Rating: 3/10 – Bad
Despite the low rating, one of the better cheapquels. Still not saying much though. This movie sucks deer dick.

Honestly, I don’t give a crap about the first Bambi movie and its sequel. If you wanna see a legit sequel better than the first movie. I got a ton of picks for you. You’ll thank me later.
Picks – The Dark Knight, Aliens, Skyfall, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, X2: X-Men United & Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2
