Bart vs. Thanksgiving

Bart vs. Thanksgiving

Bart as a scapegoat. Again.

Story

During Thanksgiving, a centerpiece Lisa created ends up in a fiery accident, leading Bart to being punished for the incident. Furious over Homer and Marge siding with Lisa, Bart stomps off to get his own dinner.

“It’s all your fault.”

Random Facts

The joke of Homer screaming for “the number for 911” was reused in Goof Troop when Goofy thought his house was raided.

The word “bitch” is a little vulgar for the Simpsons, but this is the same season where Bart was singing the word “bastard” over and over.

Bart sings to the 20th Century Fox theme as he brings the turkey out.

Lisa, you do know food has the priority on this.

Random Opinions

Although it looks like Bart intentionally threw the centerpiece into the fireplace, this isn’t one of those times where it meant for that to happen; he was just trying move it out of the way. Also Lisa told him to let go, so that’s on her.

I don’t like Thanksgiving food but bear in mind this is the very same man who would eat raisins over ice pops aka popsicles (Footage of me from spring 1995 showed my siblings eating those ice pops that came in plastic whereas I wasn’t. Later in the footage around I’m assuming Memorial Day 1995 I didn’t bother eating cake.) so it’s not really much of a surprise.

“Get me the number for 911!!”

Looks okay for the most part. I never liked how season 2 looked but certainly better than season 1.I have no idea why the episode tries to make Bart look like the bad guy.Not exactly one of the easier episodes to watch without frustration.“You don’t even care!!”
Your centerpiece WAS in the way you stupid cunt Lisa!
Accident or not, Bart did not deserve the foul treatment. The line “You ruined Thanksgiving” does a number on the rating for this one.

Rating: 19/50 – Poor (4/10)

Sure it’s better than whatever Family Guy pulled out for Thanksgiving episodes, but for the love of god, watch Charlie Brown Thanksgiving over this… this is just some lousy fanfiction where Lisa is portrayed as a goddess or something.
