Homer suffers a so-called midlife crisis when he takes a survey which implies that he’s got another 5 or so years left and goes to Florida with his family. After Homer finishes trashing and ruining a spring break concert, the Simpsons accidentally hit an alligator, and are immediately wanted by the state of Florida.

First off, Homer can not be that stupid to think that something telling him when he’s going to die is true. Have you ever tried seeing when your death date is online with death clock websites? Not one of those true in the slightest and serve as just fear-mongering. Even when my maternal grandfather was terminally ill, the doctor didn’t say what his death date was (no doctor can do that either!) but he said that he didn’t have much longer to live.

Ban a family from a state for no reason. Nice game, writers.

I feel bad for Joe C. given that this was one of his last roles in anything I’m familiar with (Although from what I’ve heard, Osmosis Jones was actually his last role).

This is another episode where Homer is exceedingly rude and obnoxious. Unfortunately, this became more common even after the Scully era.
