Ratings Explained (Cartoons)

Each item is scored from a 0-10 depending on the score.

Visuals – Depends on the show, but usually better animation quality scores much higher.
Writing – Depends on the show, but usually better writing (jokes, story, etc.) scores much higher.
Tolerance – Depends on the show, but usually if the cartoon isn’t annoying, cruel, or the plot isn’t awful it will score much higher.
Audio – Depends on the show, but usually better audio (effects, voices, etc.) scores much higher.
Characters – Depends on the show, but usually if characters stay in line score much higher.

Overall – This is the running total from all 5 categories.

(50-46) 10 – Perfect – This category is perfect for the show.
(45-41) 9 – Amazing – Near perfection.
(40-36) 8 – Great – Just minor issues.
(35-31) 7 – Good – Nothing that spit and polish can’t fix.
(30-26) 6 – Decent – Could’ve used some improvements.
(25-21) 5 – Average – Not good, but not bad.
(20-16) 4 – Poor – Negatives outweigh the positives.
(15-11) 3 – Bad – Awful, just awful.
(10-6) 2 – Terrible – Really bad.
(5-1) 1 – Rancid – Not even worth my time.
(0) 0 – Didn’t Try – Should have never been made in the first place.

Ratings are relative to the show, and not a general rating.
