Herpe, the Love Sore

Herpe, the Love Sore

Think nasty? No thanks.

Story

After Stewie gets Brian to agree to become blood brothers, Stewie ends up with herpes. Peter and the gang are kicked out of their booth by some vicious punks.

Today nincompoop, today!

Random Facts

Ranks pretty high on most peoples’ worst episodes lists for this series, which isn’t too surprising.

Surprisingly I couldn’t find any bitching from the Parents Television Council, which has constantly been harassing Seth MacFarlane just for creating an adult animated series. Though I agree heavily on their thoughts on the episode Brian & Stewie, the rest of their “complaints” are petty.

Don’t be fooled by the images I’ve used for this page – I didn’t even show the nastiest screengrabs from this episode, although I do have one of those scenes on a page I’m working on.

Brian actually hesitates to being blood brothers, so he does have some sort of morality, but it’s bare bones.

God damn it Brian.
Quahog: A sanctuary for the most disgraceful of America’s armed forces!

Random Opinions

Although people are disgusted by the imagery here, I can’t agree that it’s the worst seen in this show, which isn’t a good thing to mention…

If Brian’s a Bad Father is of any distinction, Brian have no right to be brought back. It wouldn’t have gone the same direction that Sealab 2021 went after Captain Murphy was removed due to his voice actor’s death.

Family Guy has always had it’s share of shock moments WAY back in the first season where they had a joke about a pez dispenser. The difference there though was that they weren’t overkill nor were they all over the place whereas in this episode’s case it’s insane.

Both plots are equivalent in quality. Brian showcases how evil he’s become, whereas the secondary plot is just pointless. Diffusing the appalling quality of the episode is how Peter and his buddies are defamed and publicly disgraced for taking on soldiers. Quahog apparently has no standards and blindly worships armed forces no matter how cruel they are.

Category is zeroed out for live action footage and imagery of herpes. Both plots are devoid of effort. The category is zeroed out.None of America’s warriors should be commended for doing bad things.Nothing too painful to listen to.Give credit where it’s due, Brian is very hesitant to swap blood.

Rating: 9/50 – Rancid (1.5/10)

An insult to the Brian and Stewie fanbase and our soldiers. Also a little note here, this isn’t season 12’s worst.

I don’t think this episode purely disgusting. If you wanna see something repugnant, watch The Boys’ third season. The Boys is much better than Family Guy. You ain’t seen nothing yet

Neither did I. I thought this episode was just really lazy.

Again, if you wanna watch something brilliant and disgusting, The Boys’ awesome. Consider this a warning, Season 3 premiere’s gonna make you vomit. No offense, but your reviews are getting stale. Posting Family Guy reviews feel underwhelming. You gotta get into current stuff besides The Boys like Euphoria, Peacemaker and The Penguin’s mini-series. Heck, you’ll get more views and followers if you post Marvel movies.
