Bart the Fink

Bart the Fink

Beware the IRS.

Story

Caught by the IRS for tax fraud, Krusty crashes his plane to trick the government into thinking he died. Bart later finds Krusty under a new name and tries to get him back to his life.

Miserable Krusty is not a funny Krusty.

Random Facts

“Ladies and gentlemen, Krusty the Clown is dead.”

Bob Newhart from the Rescuers guest stars as himself.

Auctions typically have their prices set at a minimum, not 0 cents. This isn’t always the case though.

Apparently this was the first episode that reviewer SomeCallMeJohnny watched, but I could be wrong. Need to rewatch one of his streams to make clear of that.

Another episode where Krusty goes through depression. I can definitely relate to that since I’ve been unemployed and having trouble with avoiding alcohol, making it hard to drop a few pounds…

Not even the joker from Batman would go for tax fraud. Only Elmer Fudd would (in Hare Brush) and disguised himself as a rabbit to fool the IRS.

Random Opinions

Handsome Pete is funny.

I bet a lot of people in congress get away with this kind of shit. Making a crash look like they died and/or cheating the IRS all the time? Sickening.

I thought Krusty’s head wasn’t makeup due to his years of chain smoking and heart attacks.

Krusty gets busted again.
