Radio Bart

Radio Bart

Diggy diggy hole.

Story

Bart is given a microphone for his birthday and uses it for malicious deeds – one of which involves manipulating the town into thinking a boy fell into the well. Unfortunately, this turns into an accidental fall, and Springfield is not amused nor convinced.

Still better than underpaid workers clapping while you’re trying to eat at Texas Roadhouse.
Remember when ice cream used to come in boxes?

Random Facts

Larry the Looter appears in the Simpsons Hit and Run (sadly you can not play it) though there is a similar game called Keystone Kapers for the Atari 2600 that has a similar premise. Back in the day if you scored enough points you could get an iron on patch – which from what I’ve heard have spiked up in popularity in the last year or so and are presumably nearly as popular as they apparently were in the late 80s/early 90s.

Wall E. Weasel is a parody of Chuck E. Cheese. There exist a lot of other parodies such as Cheesy Charlies’ from Family Guy and Pizza Planet from Toy Story just to name a few.

Sting, lead singer of the Police band guest stars as himself.

The touch of death game returns from When Flanders Failed.

Prior to the episode there was a real life incident involving a 18 month year old stuck in a well.

Looks like Homer dropped a few pounds in this episode as he gets digging.

Not paid enough to give a shit.

Random Opinions

Okay of all pizza places, Chuck E. Cheese deserves being hated – not even the Ninja Turtles would approve of Chuck E. Cheese. Why go there for pizza when you could go somewhere way better such as Imo’s Pizza (Eastern Missouri) or Ledo’s Pizza (Maryland)?

Ball pits for kids don’t seem to be as common as they used to be years ago. Most of them that I’ve heard of are used for dogs nowadays – look up Good Boy Ollie which has some Microsoft Sam-like voice for an example.

I can’t agree that a caution sign’s going to stop another kid from dropping into the well.

Does ice cream still come in boxes?
