Bart the Murderer
Murder time, fun time.
Story
Bart becomes one of Fat Tony’s followers, only to become a prime suspect in the “murder” of Seymour Skinner, where even his colleagues and Fat Tony turn against him.
Random Facts
I don’t think it’s legal to employ Bart at his age. If Springfield’s in America (Simpsons that is) then most likely Fat Tony would’ve gotten into legal woes.
Another episode where Bart’s scapegoated only this time way better.
Family Guy and King of the Hill reused the smoking punishment that Homer almost did toward Bart.
Chief Wiggum’s appearance is a little crude still, though better than it was in Homer’s Odyssey (that was the third episode of the show so obviously some slack’s going to be cut.)
This was before cameras were put in school which was done in response to the Columbine High School murders in 1999, so there wouldn’t have been as much evidence to clear Bart’s name.
Executing prisoners in Prison Architect involves a part where the death row inmate is visited by a priest. That happens to Bart in his nightmare.
Random Opinions
Fat Tony and the thugs blaming Bart for Skinner’s “murder” is similar to Scar blaming the hyenas for murdering Mufasa.
Is it me or does Chief Wiggum sound a little “off” to anyone? Since this was one of his first appearances I won’t dock points off.

Although better looking than season 2, still a little crude. | Dark and moody, but keeps with a humorous theme. | Easy to watch for anyone. | Couldn’t find any lines that made me cringe. | Great way to introduce Fat Tony as a threatening criminal. |
Rating: 47/50 – Amazing (9/10)
One of the best of season 3. Season 3 is where I’d recommend starting out for watching classic Simpsons although I’d go back even earlier.
