Ratings Explained (Film)

The ratings are given as a full evaluation of the movie. Generally, anything 6 or higher is considered of good quality and anything below 5 is considered of bad quality (Which lines up with how you get grades at school/college). Decimal increments of .5 indicate better on the integer number’s rating I.E. 8.5 would indicate better than 8, but worse than 9.

All ratings are opinion based and likely change over time.

10/10 – Perfect (A+) – Nearly flawless.
9/10 – Amazing (A) – Masterpiece.
8/10 – Great (B+) – One or two issues, but worth watching. Most common rating.
7/10 – Good (B) – More good than bad.
6/10 – Decent (C+) – Okay for the most part.
5/10 – Average (C) – Not bad but not good either.
4/10 – Poor (D+) – More bad than good.
3/10 – Bad (D) – A letdown.
2/10 – Terrible (F+) – Felt like there was no effort.
1/10 – Rancid (F) – It had such terrifying imagery!
0/10 – Didn’t Try (Lower than F-) – Not even worth my time!
